The royal Navy Destroyers have had great success with their season so far only losing two recreational games this year. They also manageed to retain the title of Tri Service champions and finished third once again in the forces rec tournement.The team is now focused on retaining the Metropolitan cup which is the next outing for the Rn Kings.

The Rn Destroyers was started in Febuary 2006 by team manager Kevin Cave and Stephen Knightley.Thier first port of call was to RN hockey Legend Andy (Bull Dog) Ledington who played for the old Rn Team sevral years before.In March Team chairman Alain Bernard came on board and the team grew in numbers many of them based in Scotland.With the Inter service finals looming and the team never having played or trained together it would prove to be a test. June 06 the morniing of the inter services in Dundee and the whole team meet for the first time just an hour before the first game,the Rn Destroyer came out finishing a respectable 3rd that year finishing above all of the RAF teams.Since then the team has grew in number and talent so much an elite team was Formed the RN Kings led by tean captain Dan Withers the kings played in the inter service final in 2007 and were crowned 2007 Armed Froces Champions. The Kings later went on too be crowned the Metropolitain Police summer CupChampions.
